New Beginnings

The Enterprise Early Education Center opened its doors to Kindergartners for the first first time during the 2009 - 2010 school year.  EEEC has already gained a history that makes it unique and a special part of Enterprise.  On March 1, 2007 a devastating tornado that claimed eight lives hit Enterprise and destroyed two schools.  Enterprise was in need of two schools to house the displaced students.  ESCC took in the students of Enterprise High School, and Holly Hill and Hillcrest "combined" to gain the nickname "Hollycrest".  The following school year things needed to change to be more comfortable for the students and teachers from Holly Hill and Hillcrest.  Luckily, the Enterprise Early Education Center was completed in July of 2007 with just enough time for Hillcrest to move in until their new school could be planned and built.  Hillcrest was in the "EEEC" building for two years and beginning in 2009 had a wonderful new building to call home!  This move led to the Kindergarten teachers system-wide packing up and moving into the EEEC building in the summer of 2009.  EEEC has been home to Kindergartners since the Fall of 2009.  Go Kindercats!
